A High Pressure Vessel is used as a high-side refrigerant receiver. It stores liquid ammonia, helps manage refrigerant volume during plant operation and can support pump-down requirements during service or maintenance.
A Low Pressure Vessel is commonly used in pumped ammonia refrigeration systems. It collects low-pressure liquid ammonia returning from evaporators, separates liquid from vapour and helps maintain consistent refrigerant feed.
